Day 11 - Helena
—
I pretty much love this outfit today. I’ve become a little obsessed about tangerines, yellows, pinks, and oranges lately, even to the extent that my thesis defense PowerPoint was designed with those colors featured prominently. People said it was pretty. :) Yes, I know I was obsessed with bralets last week (still am), but I just get so excited about everything! New orange additions to my closet include this shirt, a yoga shirt that’s super comfy, sunglasses, lipstick, and nail polish.
I also really love both of these bracelets. The rosy pearl one is from a market in Beijing, and is just one of those things I’ve had forever and love every time I wear. The other one (kind of hard to see in this photo, sorry) is made out of watermelon seeds dyed and strung together. I got it from a street vendor in Shanghai and am so scared it’s going to break and I’ll never find another one, so I don’t wear it too often!
Today I wanted something that looked really fun, but not too dressy. My stepdad’s a musician, so we went to one of his concerts and this outfit was edgy enough to wear to a musical performance (the bottom half’s see-through), but still classy enough for my parent’s approval (though in truth my mom would have approved me wearing pretty much anything).
